    The veil is decent quality.

    I would say the gloves run slightly large--I'm a 5'-11" male and the medium gloves fit me well with a just enough room for uninhibited finger articulation. For reference, from the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger is 7.5 inches. The gloves cover the forearm with ventilation around the wrist.

    The hive tool is sturdy and cool looking.

    The brush is a brush, just as pictured.

    I recieved my kit separate from the hive within a week and everything came as expected, fitting appropriately and ready for use. I especially like the jacket and glove closure ends which leave no openings and provide a secure fit with good manuever; likewise for the joining of the hat/mask and jacket fitting. I drilled a hole to the bracket securing the baffle closure on the smoker and attached it to the protective wire basket with a light gauge wire in order not to lose the bracket when baffle was in use. The feel of the leather gloves is light enought for handling tool and hive tasks, and good veil visibility. Might be a bit warm as summer looms but good protection and loose fit--should be just fine for the time spent with a few hives.
