We're in the news! Bee Thinking began 8 months ago as my effort to categorize the beekeeping resources on the internet. Since then we've gained over 300 members, more than 500 resources, numerous articles, and expanded our apiary from 1 to 23 hives.

The Clackamas Review, a newspaper local to our home base in Oak Grove, Oregon, recently interviewed me and took a walk through one of my bee yards. Ellen Spitaleri, the reporter, was most interested in why I started, what I am doing locally, and especially how I am doing it differently. 

While the article has some major flaws (I didn't put a swarm into a dead tree; I use 4 breeds of bees; the bees aren't foraging on Blackberries yet; I already have 9 hives at three different wineries, etc.), I am glad it was written.
