Tung oil is the ideal oil with which to treat your new top bar hive or Warre hive! Thought to originate in China as early as 400 B.C., tung oil is made by pressing the seeds of the Tung Tree. It is a natural oil without any additives or chemicals that will prolong the life of your hive, and help it to retain its beautiful cedar coloration!

One bottle is sufficient for at least one coat of tung oil to a top bar hive or Warre hive.
