I purchased the Warre Hive with the Copper roof for my garden. With or without bees, it is a wonderful addition to my landscape. Well crafted and attractive. It was a great value for the price.

Took it out of the box, cut the strap and set it up in 10 minutes. For me, that was well worth the fee for assembly. Bees were put in last weekend following the site directions and appear to be thriving. My kids and I also enjoy the viewing windows.

Great product and craftsmanship. Received the product unassembled - took about 10 minutes to put together. Would recommend to a friend.

The Warre Hive arrived today and I am very pleased the the quality of the hive. The instructions are nice to have but I think I was able to figure out how to put them together with out the instructions because they are so well made. Everything goes together beautifully and the ceder smells so good. I am very happy to recommend your hives to anyone. Many thanks for a very fine, reasonably priced product.

I am a first year Beekeeper and after much research about various beehives. purchased a Kenyan and a Warre Hive, both with windows this spring 2012. I live in Mississippi and we suffer horribly from hive beetles (I saw them on day 3 after installation!) I modified the bottom of my Kenyan (read sawed out 2 spaces) so that I could put in a screen bottom before I installed my normal sized honeybees.
Initially I purchased the windows so that I could see the bees at work, but later found out I could fight the beetles by keeping the windows open because the added light discouraged hive beetles. This is good because I won't do poison.
I also modified the top of the Warre hive with screen, the fabric provided didn't work for me or the bees.
I have fed my bees honey (not sugar water), placing the feeder inside the hives and they have done really well. Having the feeders inside also protected the honey from robbers, and it was easy to get to in both hives to switch out.
When I purchase another hive it will be the Warre because it is easier to control moisture.
I love my top bar Beehives, I do not smoke them and I do not take any of the Bees honey: I just observe. The natural sized honeybees I installed in March split in August in the Kenya, so they are doing great!
My recommendation is the Warre & GET WINDOWS!!
