Milled in Portland, Oregon and offered in FSC®  certified, sustainable, kiln-dried, Sugar Pine (the most popular choice), or Western Red Cedar , our Warre hives include two boxes to get you started. Our Warre hive kits feature 7/8" thick Western Red Cedar or Sugar Pine, rabbet joints, pre-drilled holes and stainless steel screws for added strength and longevity. NOTE:   Our Western Red Cedar hives are made to order with a current lead time of 30-45 days. For quicker delivery, select Sugar Pine. For immediate shipment, select our Quick Ship hives.

    Warre Hive with viewing windows

The product itself is very nice quality. One thing that could improve is the instructions for assembly. The viewing windows are a really nice option. We get our bees this week, so I will see how they like their new home.

    Mostly great

Mostly everything was great. I did receive one hive box that had the rough side on the outer side. One that was not predtilled and one top bar with a wood knot that was cracked around the knot. Nothing that was a big deal, but would be nice to have more attention to detail
