The hive is well built and works great. The shipping was painfully slow though.

          Great hive, love the design

Great hive, love the design and viewing windows to check out the bees without disrupting the whole colony.

            Replacement for inherited langstroth.

My 10 Frame langstroth that was given to me with my colony is beat. I'm really happy with their new luxury bungalow and they seem to be really happy about the change although reducing the hive into this one has been tedious and emotional. It's really easy for a petite hobbyist like me to maneuver them around without breaking my back. The copper roof and at least one observation window is a must and makes it look super clean and modern because of the way it's cut. I also really like that this hive has a quilt box since a big concern was weather. I find that although it was quite a wait (over a month) for an unassembled hive (which was pretty easy to assemble with minimal tools) Bee Thinking has a few supplies that I haven't seen anywhere else (the straining buckets which would've saved so much effort two days ago.) for small time beekeepers which is awesome. I hope to see more common sense products or even other products with the same clean cut-ness so I don't have to order from any where else. Oh...and Customer Service is the They were really great. I'm hoping to order another hive in the next couple of weeks. Thx again.
