Cocktails with Honey and Mead

Celebrate National Cocktail Day with the (bee)st.  Join Mead Market and expert mixologist Halley Connelly for a night of cocktail magic, with a splash of mead and honey!


We’ll kick off the night with a mead-mosa cocktail, then each participant will make 2 cocktails to enjoy from specially designed mead and honey themed recipes. In between drinks students will enjoy a honey-themed talk and tasting. To top it off, everyone will leave with their own bee-themed cocktail making kit, and the exclusive recipes from the evening.


When: Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6pm-8pm


Where: Bee Thinking and Mead Market, 1744 SE Hawthorne Blvd.


Bee-hind the bar: Halley Connelly is a native Oregonian and has worked in the bar industry for nearly a decade. From revived classics at KASK (sw 12th and Alder) to more modern cocktails at Castagna (se 17th and Hawthorne), she has broad experience, and loves to pass along the knowledge gained along the way.


Space is limited to 12 seats, so reserve your spot fast! Must be 21 years of age or older to participate in class.
