Tuition: $15 per group + Materials: $5 per set of crayons
Beeswax is a diverse and useful hive by-product, most commonly used for candle making, and beauty products. Did you know it can be used to make natural crayons as well? Get your kids excited about hive products! Join us for a hands-on, family friendly workshop to learn about how bees make and use wax, how to make your own beeswax crayons, and for an educational coloring activity.
We will be drawing from nature to create beautiful, non-toxic crayons with beeswax and naturally sourced pigments. Each participant will leave with a set of 5 beeswax crayons.
When: Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 from 3-5PM
Where: Bee Thinking, 1744 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR, 97214
